Kobo
Kobo Elipsa
Kobo's first big writing e-reader, and the one whose screen texture reviewers actually liked best of the three — grippier than its own successor. But it is a closed system with no app installation, and PDF handling is the weak link: no reflow, no margin cropping, jittery zoom and pan. Fine for Kobo-store books with occasional markup; for PDFs, look at Boox.
